This garden in the foothills is both expansive and intimate. The owners have developed the landscape over time, while raising an active family and enjoying very busy careers. With remodels, and the changing landscape we have addressed functional issues, maintenance requirements, use of well water and economizing municipal water. We have introduced the practice of onsite composting as well. Recently we designed a new project to remove over 4000 square feet of lawn and the installation of drought oriented plants to create a sense of energy, and appropriateness in the space.
