
NORBERT HOLTER
Norbert Holter is a landscape architect and credentialed art educator. He has worked in private landscape architectural, urban design, and building architectural practices in New York, California, and Tokyo. Norbert was born and raised in the New York Outer Lands, in an old railroad suburb, located on a sandur known as the Hempstead Plains. His father was a gardener by trade and he became involved in gardening at an early age. At age twelve Norbert chose to pursue a career in the arts which led to study in the fine arts, art education, and landscape architecture. As a landscape architect he has worked on a wide range of project types including public, residential, institutional, and commercial. He received his training at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, the Art Students League of New York, and the State University of New York College at New Paltz. Norbert is a member of the ASLA, CLARB certified, and a SITES accredited professional. In addition to Silicon Valley and Long Island,
he has resided in San Francisco, Boston, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Manhattan.
