Our client’s children had grown up and moved away, and wanting reimagined outdoor living spaces to reflect a more adult aesthetic, we created a space where they could entertain larger groups, as well as host intimate gatherings with friends. An oversized swimming pool, which had dominated the backyard, was removed and in its place a generous dining pavilion, firepit, bar, BBQ  and seating area were added. The gardens, once formal and dated, are now a tapestry of colorful perennials and shrubs that offer beautiful blossoms and texture throughout the seasons. A bountiful raised vegetable planter was included as well as a secret tropical garden.  The experience found in this refreshing garden is elegant, inviting and memorable.
